So the post is a bit old (one week), but I wanted to point out a very interesting article by ColdFusion Product Jason Delmore:
Things ColdFusion is not... and... Why ColdFusion isn't free...
Jason talks about the reasons why you can't get ColdFusion for free, and why it isn't OS. Please post any comments to his entry of course.

haha Amen
Hm, did not convince me a bit.
Is he a writer or something? His sentence flow with the next sentence.
I strongly believe coldfusion should be free. I dont care if its open source or not, but atleast make it free, charge for extra stuff included, doesnt matter (Personal opinon) .
Guys - to be clear - post comments about the story on his entry. He is not a professional writer, but most of us bloggers aren't. ;)
CF should not be free any more than the commercial applications we write should be free. Adobe has spent money developing Cold Fusion and is justified in charging for it. It has shareholders that want a return. We live in a capitalist society.
Um, ok. So -- I really meant it. Let me repeat it in case it isn't obvious.
Post comments on the story at Jason's blog entry. Not mine.
I may need to close commenting if this keeps up - but I _know_, I just _know_ my readers are smarter than that. ;)
